The University provides excellent facilities for residence, food services, and learning centers in addition to attractive landscaping within the West Texas environment.

KidQuest Day Camp emphasizes discovery active learning and expressive play for kids entering 1st through 3rd grade in the fall. Learning to Lead provides an active learning adventure for youth preparing to enter 4th through 6th grade. MPulse offers a community-building experience for adolescents in a transition period preparing to enter 7th through 9th grade. Kadesh Life Camp maximizes challenges to high school students through its innovation and intense focus of week-long events. Cross Training, for students entering 8th grade through college freshman, stretches campers physically and spiritually in an adventure-packed one week session in the mountains of Sipapu, New Mexico. Whether campers attend one year only or return every year for every camp, they experience a uniquely focused camp program calling them to respond to God with their heart, mind and life.

Leadership Camps began in 1982 with a vision to meet a growing concern for leadership training among young believers. Kadesh Life Camp offered this opportunity for high school students, and Learning to Lead was introduced in 1985 to offer an age-appropriate experience for upper-elementary and middle school students. In the past ten years, the vision has been refocused toward an emphasis on servant leadership, community service, and personal spiritual growth. In 1997, MPulse was introduced to provide a unique challenge for middle schoolers seeking to find their place in Christian community.

Our facilities on the campus of Abilene Christian University provide a unique “camping” experience . . . comfortable two-person residence hall rooms for campers and outstanding meeting facilities. In addition, campers experience ACU’s friendly “family” atmosphere, eat their meals in “The World Famous Bean,” and relax and play in the McGlothlin Campus Center’s recreation facilities. Nightly devotionals are experienced together in the outdoor Beauchamp Amphitheater as the sun sets in the West Texas sky.
